Dr. Jill Hartzell received her Chiropractic degree in February 2006 from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Palmer is widely regarded as the “fountainhead” of Chiropractic; it is the oldest and most respected chiropractic school. She also has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. Dr. Jill works at understanding the cause of illness in each of her patients in order to eliminate it, rather than simply treat symptoms. She strives to educate patients about the power of the body to regulate and heal itself. Teaching others to make good decisions regarding their health is extremely important to Dr. Jill. She believes a trip to the chiropractor should be an enjoyable and rewarding activity you do because you value your health. |
Dr. Jill is excited about spreading the word of chiropractic to everyone she meets. She is able to reach many different people throughout the country while traveling to different racetracks, basketball courts, or boxing rings. In her spare time, Dr. Jill drives a dirt Late Model racecar, referees college women’s basketball, and competes as an amateur boxer. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and she is a loyal UNI Panther fan!
Dr. Jill was first introduced to Chiropractic while an athlete at UNI. She was a heptathlete on UNI’s track and field team. After suffering many hamstring injuries, Jill turned to Chiropractic care to help find the cause of her injuries. Jill was able to find relief from her injury and became stable. She completed rehabilitation and strengthened herself and continued her track and field career under chiropractic care without another hamstring injury. Jill became a believer in the chiropractic philosophy and decided that she would love to help people the way she was helped!
Dr. Jill has a great background in athletics and is excited about taking care of athletes with athletic injuries, but she also believes many injuries can be prevented if under proper care. Chiropractic benefits everyone! Because Dr. Jill knows this, she wants to encourage parents to bring their children in for spinal checkups. With a healthy spinal column, a child’s body can better deal with the sore throats, ear infections, stomach aches, fevers, measles, mumps, and the hundred-and-one other problems that often make up young life. Dr. Jill wants to reach as many people as possible about the benefits of chiropractic care throughout their entire lives. Restoring better spinal function can help improve mobility, vitality, endurance, and appetite. Many patients report improvement in arthritic symptoms and other chronic ailments often associated with the aging process. Dr. Jill takes pride in being able to take care of your entire family from young to old and can’t wait to get started caring for you! |
